Next came a tribute to the music of Queen, provided by a convincing Freddie Mercury look/sound-alike and Brian May-be. They were Pure Magic, performing an entertaining, energetic set of favourites, such as Radio Ga- Ga and We Will Rock You, which had the room rocking. Ending up strutting the stage draped in the Union flag, "This Freddie comes close to recreating the huge persona of the real item!". |

Queen have also spawned many imitators and the latest is new act "Pure Magic". The impressive vocals were still there and Freddie's mannerisms were spot on in numbers including Bohemian Rhapsody and the almost obligatory We Will Rock You!. |

The second musical tribute of the night was paid to Freddie Mercury by a solo tribute act called Pure Magic. This is an excellent vocal impression and he should fill his diary with work from those who don’t have the budget for a full Queen tribute band.

Radio Ga-Ga are a four-piece, semi-live tribute band, who arrived complete with a serious axe-man in the guise of Brian May and a singer who proved to be equally impressive in both vocal and visual impression of Freddie Mercury. The Queen tribute market isn’t crowded because it is a tough act to pull off but Radio Ga-Ga are now fully fledged members of the tribute fraternity and it is easy to see why.
